Glazed and Cinnamon Sugar Air-Fryer Donuts

Standard

I purchased a Power XL Air Fryer from QVC and not a day goes by that we don’t use it to cook, bake or heat food.  I love the fact that its so easy to use with pre set buttons and the options of recipes are endless.  Its as easy as a bag of French Fries or more fancy with making Chili Rellano Casserole.  I have been making these donuts for over a year now and my family loves them hot out of the fryer.  If your looking for an air fryer I recommend the Power XL.

Glazed Air-Fryer Donuts

1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, 8 count

For the glaze:

1/2 cup confectioner sugar

1 teaspoon almond extract

2-4 tablespoons milk

For the cinnamon sugar mix:

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Pop the can of biscuits open, separate

using a 1 inch round cutter cut out middle to make donut holes, don’t have a cutter, use a knife to cut out a circle in the middle.

make the glaze, set aside

4 at a time add to air fryer, air fry 350 degrees for 3 minutes, flip over cook an additional 2 minutes.

as soon as they are done, remove from fryer and dip one side into glaze, add sprinkles now if you choose

add remaining 4 donuts to air fryer cook

make cinnamon sugar mix, set aside

take donuts out repeat same glazing step

now add donut holes, cook about 3-4 minutes flipping if need be, watch them so they don’t brown too much.

As soon as they are cooked coat in remaining glaze the immediately toss in cinnamon sugar mix.  The combination is delicious.

Eat warm & enjoy!!
